Hello all!
Data Meeting #4 is all complete, and as this was one of the more extensive and complicated meetings, there was a lot to cover. The first step of the meeting was to go through the planning protocol with each instructional tactic. This seemed like a lot to do at first, but we arranged a way to efficiently review each tactic as a group before moving on to the next step. Each group member scored one tactic before the group decided on suggestions and whether it would be included in the data plan. This went smoother than I thought after reading all of the criteria.
During our second meeting, we worked very well as a group, filling in boxes a little bit at a time. We found that a lot of the activities fit into daily routine times (transitions, meetings etc.), and therefore could be done daily simply by changing them up frequently so that the students do not get bored. This also meant that the activities are more likely to be repeated because large time slots are not needed to accomplish the tasks. I think if we were to actually implement these activities in the classroom, they would be extremely successful! I look forward to the last meeting and completing this process!
