What is MyPlate?
All of the food you eat helps you grow, have energy, and do your best! Each type of food gives you different kinds of nutrition.
Nutrition=the process by which your body turns food into energy and body tissue. Which foods give us the best nutrition? MyPlate tells you what kinds of food and how much you need to eat. Read through the graphic below. Who can name a fruit, vegetable, grain, protein, or dairy food? |
